Roller Blinds on a Sunny Day: No More Glare Nightmare

We fitted some roller blinds a few days ago, it took me 2 to 3 days alone getting the slats installed in my work room. I work through the morning right after breakfast doing consulting work, I love the breakfast nook we have in place in the kitchen. The problem is the glare. When the sun is high on up and kids are off to school, I can count on the morning sun bringing on that glare through the windows of every room in the house. Off it bounces on our computer screens, glare all over my tablet and laptop. But now that the roller blinds are on, it has made my work hours bearable.



Sorry, I love my work room and the kitchen, I got my spot there too. Now summer's almost here, nothing beats hanging out where I want to in the house. Hopefully, I don't need to turn on the AC as much with blinds keeping the heat off.

What are Roller Blinds?

Roller Blinds are made of tough fabric that rolls into a tube when pulled or drawn.



The specialty fabric can be made of durable lightweight material or textile with flame retardant coating as an added safety protection against fires and even certain film coating that can resist stubborn stains.



Roller blinds can come equipped with a sidewinder mechanism on the left or right sidee. They can be customize to have chain, poles and brackets to fit the look of your space.

As you can tell I am very particular about windows. Yes, I love windows. Not the software. But I fancy a window that's bare and needs to be dressed. Window treatments get me all excited :)
